Husika Alliance, focuses on peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and transformation through a multifaceted approach. The organization operates under the theme "Sustaining Peace towards self-reliant, Resilient & Peaceful Societies," aiming to empower and strengthen the capacities of the local community to manage conflicts non-violently.

Key initiatives employed by Husika Alliance include facilitating sport-based games, art activities, advocacy efforts, dialogues, empowerment programs, and utilizing online platforms and media activities. These initiatives serve as entry points to engage various segments of the community, including children, women of all ages, youth, religious leaders, traditional leadership, marginalized groups, and security personnel. By harnessing the capabilities, creativity, innovation, and knowledge of these diverse groups, Husika seeks to advance peaceful, just, and inclusive communities in Mandera County.

Husika Alliance aligns with the Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) Agenda established by the United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 2250 (2015) and subsequent resolutions UNSCR 2419 (2018) and UNSCR 2535 (2020). This agenda recognizes the crucial role of young people in building and sustaining peace and security. By promoting inclusive labor policies and education that fosters a culture of peace, Husika Alliance contributes to creating an environment where young people can actively participate in peace processes.
